BachQ is fresh and new. Set back off the road it looks across Houhora Harbour to Mt Camel; the summit is visible from the master bedroom. To the south: children's playground 100m; Houhora Big Game Fishing Club and restaurant, wharf, boat ramp and EV charging station 200m; Houhora Heads (with historic Subritzky Homestead) 5km; Ninety Mile Beach 10km. To the north: Four Square, restaurant, takeaways, commercial wharf and petrol/diesel 500m; numerous beaches on the road to landmark Cape Reinga 70km

Oak Tree Hut

Rustic built wooden hut on our hillside rural property. One comfortable single bed . Breakfast corner window overlooking the fields and SH10 or outside on the little deck. Toilet and shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance and will be shared with other guests if they are occupying the other larger Cabin . Outside of the Main house there’s a cooking area , 2 gas points, pots,pans etc and Internet available in this area.. also double sink to wash up. Large parking area. .

Studio 8, private studio with commanding views!

Studio 8 is a private studio with a stunning view of the apricot sand beaches and lagoon of beautiful Cable Bay. Relax and unwind while you take in the view of the sea all the way across the bay to the KariKari Peninsula. Come and relax in our private studio, suitable for 1 person or for a couple. There are more than 13 eateries all within 5 minutes drive away. A private walkway down to the beach. Plus the best Ice Cream shop within walking distance! Perfect location to explore the Far North.

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Hilltop apartment & farm stay visit

Wake up in your own private, sun-drenched apartment. Perched on a hilltop, views of Mt Camel. Our only neighbours are fruit trees, cows, a friendly dog and cat. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, fantastic for family holidays, romantic get-aways or a worker's retreat. The apartment is set on the north end of our family home, with a kitchen, bathroom & private entry. The top bunk is for light-weight persons only & because this is a working farm, the flat is not suitable for unattended children.

Take a two min stroll down the drive to a safe swimming and surfing beach or take you car on the beach for a drive along 90 Mile Beach or just sit and the deck with your favourite drink and enjoy the endless view of 90 Mile .

Surrounded by nature and encircled by the entire stretch of 90 Mile Beach & Ahipara Shipwreck Bay, enjoy primal sea, sky and forest in a totally private setting. By day see the skies from your bed through floor to ceiling French doors, or from your private deck. Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. By night enjoy the stars as little light disturbs your view in this hilltop setting.

Enjoy a day out exploring the Bay of Islands by boat or yacht. Walk to Opua along the coastal track or stroll to Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Free parking onsite.

Houhora Harbour Studio

Enjoy your own piece of Houhora in our modern comfortable studio overlooking the Houhora harbour. We are just a stones throw from the wharf so you can cook your own catch in our kitchen with a view. Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

90 Mile Beach Front Hideaway

A simple bach at the beach to relax and enjoy the view .Great location, awesome sunsets front verandah. Large fenced section .Sheltered bbq area out the back. Handy to Cape bus pickup. Great for families, couples or singles. Awesome spot. All beds made up and plenty of extra linen in the hotwater cupboard to help your self too. Lots of awesome walks handy.Apart from the beach Lake Ngatu is 5mins up the road with its DOC walking track around it.Also forestry/beach walks.

A little slice of paradise

Here is something a little different and special. If you are after a relaxing holiday experience surrounded by nature, but want more creature comforts than camping can provide, then this beautiful open plan deck and separate cabin is just for you! Tucked away in a garden oasis, this property has a seaview over Mill Bay and across to the Karikari Peninsula. The spacious covered deck for entertaining includes a fully powered utility with kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.
