Cooks Beach is made famous because Captain James Cook sailed on the HMS Endeavour into Mercury Bay in 1769 and anchored at Cooks Beach off Purangi.

Our Air Con penthouse makes the most of Auckland, right on the water, city views, easy stroll to town & ferrys. but located in Wynyard Quarter so without all the noise of the viaduct area. You are right on the water, a short stroll to the shops and cafes, or just enjoying sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the water. 1 secure car park to use. Grandviews Apartment, Rotorua

Your hosts are Barbara and Phillip, semi-retired and we are happy to share the downstairs unit. It is independent of us with a parking space and a side entrance. As the unit is downstairs you can hear us walking around if we are home. Earplugs may be required for complete quiet. We are located in a lovely, well-appointed suburb of Rotorua only a 10-minute drive to the centre of town. Rotorua has a lot to offer whether you are on a budget or not.
