BachQ is fresh and new. Set back off the road it looks across Houhora Harbour to Mt Camel; the summit is visible from the master bedroom. To the south: children's playground 100m; Houhora Big Game Fishing Club and restaurant, wharf, boat ramp and EV charging station 200m; Houhora Heads (with historic Subritzky Homestead) 5km; Ninety Mile Beach 10km. To the north: Four Square, restaurant, takeaways, commercial wharf and petrol/diesel 500m; numerous beaches on the road to landmark Cape Reinga 70km

Oak Tree Hut

Rustic built wooden hut on our hillside rural property. One comfortable single bed . Breakfast corner window overlooking the fields and SH10 or outside on the little deck. Toilet and shower is at the main house which has its own seperate entrance and will be shared with other guests if they are occupying the other larger Cabin . Outside of the Main house there’s a cooking area , 2 gas points, pots,pans etc and Internet available in this area.. also double sink to wash up. Large parking area. .

Studio 8, private studio with commanding views!

Studio 8 is a private studio with a stunning view of the apricot sand beaches and lagoon of beautiful Cable Bay. Relax and unwind while you take in the view of the sea all the way across the bay to the KariKari Peninsula. Come and relax in our private studio, suitable for 1 person or for a couple. There are more than 13 eateries all within 5 minutes drive away. A private walkway down to the beach. Plus the best Ice Cream shop within walking distance! Perfect location to explore the Far North.

Hilltop apartment & farm stay visit

Wake up in your own private, sun-drenched apartment. Perched on a hilltop, views of Mt Camel. Our only neighbours are fruit trees, cows, a friendly dog and cat. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, fantastic for family holidays, romantic get-aways or a worker's retreat. The apartment is set on the north end of our family home, with a kitchen, bathroom & private entry. The top bunk is for light-weight persons only & because this is a working farm, the flat is not suitable for unattended children.

The Pipi Patch

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space set in 3 acres of lush garden. This two bedroom self-contained retreat is warm and inviting and a perfect base for your Far North adventures. Within a few minutes you could be casting your rod out on the iconic West Coast at 90 Mile Beach or taking a dip in Houhora harbour on the East side, our part of the country is that narrow! It's an easy drive north to Cape Reinga with a host of stunning beaches along the way. Relax, unwind or explore.

Stunning eco cabin encircled by 90 Mile Beach

Surrounded by nature and encircled by the entire stretch of 90 Mile Beach & Ahipara Shipwreck Bay, enjoy primal sea, sky and forest in a totally private setting. By day see the skies from your bed through floor to ceiling French doors, or from your private deck. Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. By night enjoy the stars as little light disturbs your view in this hilltop setting.

Houhora Harbour Studio

Enjoy your own piece of Houhora in our modern comfortable studio overlooking the Houhora harbour. We are just a stones throw from the wharf so you can cook your own catch in our kitchen with a view. Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

90 Mile Beach Front Hideaway

A simple bach at the beach to relax and enjoy the view .Great location, awesome sunsets front verandah. Large fenced section .Sheltered bbq area out the back. Handy to Cape bus pickup. Great for families, couples or singles. Awesome spot. All beds made up and plenty of extra linen in the hotwater cupboard to help your self too. Lots of awesome walks handy.Apart from the beach Lake Ngatu is 5mins up the road with its DOC walking track around it.Also forestry/beach walks.

The Bach

Cute 1brm cottage - located in Pukenui township. Fully self contained with kitchen, bathroom, toilet & laundry. Queen bed in the bedroom & long single bed in a nook off the kitchen/lounge. Plenty of parking & room for the boat. BBQ available. Walking distance to the local shops, wharf, fishing club & café. Just a 50 minute drive to Cape Reinga & 10 mins out to the famous 90 Mile Beach. Houhora is surrounded by lots of fabulous NZ beaches.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Studio Blak - Ahipara

Welcome to Studio Blak, a brand new self contained open planned space to kick back an unwind after a trip to Cape Reinga, a day at the beach or work away from home! Located in Ahipara, a small coastal town 15mins drive from Kaitaia. You’ll find us in a quiet, safe residential subdivision a 5min walk to the local cafe, fish n chips & dairy! A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!
