Jules of the Karoo Cottage

Oasis in the heart of the Great Karoo, far away from the restless city and with lots of character. Jules of the Karoo cottage has one room, lounge with 3 single beds and kitchen. Outside braai area with a swimming pool. Braai packages can be arranged with homemade side dishes. Bird watching, walking trails on the farm and plains game viewing. Experience the biggest springbok in South Africa. Please note we are 60km gravel road from the N1. You need a high vehicle to drive to the lodge.

Ganskuil farm stay, Britstown

The farmhouse is split into two units, but also available as one. There is a two bedroom flat, with one bathroom, a living room with a kitchenette, fridge and basic kitchen equipment to prepare a light meal. The 2nd unit is the farmhouse with two bedrooms, a full bathroom, lovely farm kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher etc, dining room and lounge. Braai facilities available. Coffee and rusks are included in the tariff, as well as a complimentary self help breakfast for the 1st morning.

SANDKORREL on JACOBSBAAI

Sandkorrel is a 4 bedroom house in Jacobsbaai, South Africa, situated 50 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. Each of the 4 bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms. The house has a fully functional kitchen. In addition, two of the bedrooms have their own kitchenettes. The entertainment area consists of an open plan television room, kitchen and dining area with indoor braai and guest toilet. Adjacent is a large patio overlooking the ocean. *No pets allowed and no wi-fi available.

This suite is built from Karoo stone and beautifully restored to the original two-storey house. It offers a true Karoo experience and is ideal for a family looking for a peaceful getaway. The view over the Karoo landscape is beautiful and guests can relax on the stone patio at the braai. The openflour suite sleeps 4 adults. There is a double bed on the second floor and a double sofa bed on the first floor. Please note there is 14km gravel road to reach farm

The Volkshuijs @ Zeekoegat Country House

Zeekoegat Country House is a working wool farm situated on the farm road between Carnarvon and Vosburg in the great Karoo. There are two antique stone cottages to choose from. Die Volkshuijs sleeps a family of 5 (with 2 being little children) comfortably. It has a queen size bed and single bed in one room and a bunk bed in a separate room. It has a big lawn and braai area overlooking the Karoo koppies.
