The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

Strategically located in Vila Franca do Campo, in the central part of the São Miguel island, which makes it an excellent starting point for trips to every corner of the island; it is well connected by expressway with the capital of the island and with the airport (about 20 minutes by car). A lot of restaurants within a walking distance! The unique microclimate makes the town extremely sunny.

Hi! We are Vitória and Hermínio, a happily married couple from the Azores. We live in Vila Franca do Campo for more than 30 years and we think this is the perfect town in the island to spend some relaxing holidays. Casa das Dias is a 1-bedroom house located in the historical center of Vila Franca, right in front of the sea with an outsanding view to the Atlantlic Ocean and Ilhéu, a volcanic islet known among the villagers as the Princess Ring. Casa do Lagar is an entire house inside our farm. It has one double bedroom and two single beds on the mezzanine above the living room. A car is required.

Countryside cottage in the northwest of São Miguel, with views to the ocean, the mountains and the fields. An option for those who want to explore the main attractions of the western part of the island, but wish to stay in a place off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A CAT living in the cottage, she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT. If you don't like cats or are allergic to them, the cottage is not a suitable option for you.
