Beautiful hiking tracks in summer and in winter there are cross country skiing tracks and a ski lift at Sysendalen - Maurset. Skiing routes / tracks for cross country skiing is found at www.skisporet.no - Sysendalen usually about 300m from the cabin. The cabin is cozy and simple, and river just 100 meters below with possibility fishing trout.

Modern chalet, located in the Roldal Ski Resort. The chalet is located in an amazing hiking area on the foot of the Hardangervidda plateau. It is also a great place if you are planning to do the Trolltunga hike, which is about 40 minutes drive away.
