Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

A relaxing 20-minute ferry trip from West Seattle or Water Taxi from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private cozy, Studio cottage with sweeping views of the Sound. Watch the ferries go by, relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, a forest hiking trail with sea and Mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Accommodations include a living/dining area, spacious master bedroom, sea view terrace with covered patio, KITCHENETTE (NOT A FULL KITCHEN), plus an additional guest room and access to the waterfront bulkhead area (NO BEACH ACCESS).

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!

You'll have your own cozy, newly-remodeled cottage on a two-acre property with a fruit orchard, hammocks, chickens, and aspen grove. Easy parking and access to public transportation. Very safe neighborhood and a great central location for bike touring. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Nestled above the water on a high bluff, the view literally takes your breath away; Puget Sound, Cascade mountains and sunrises that astound. It may be hard to believe an island paradise is so close to two major cities, but time seems to have stopped on Vashon. It's a magical place; come visit and let the spell work on you!
