Noddfa was built in the summer of 2020 initially as a writer's retreat for the owner. It is located in a magical spot deep in the 60 acres of private woodland belonging to Coed Hills Rural Artspace, a low impact community of friendly, artistically-inclined, wonderful people - 14 of which live scattered about the site in their own hand-built dwellings. Noddfa is very much the owners personal space with lots of evidence of his life and interests. It offers comfortable off-grid peace and seclusion.

All is within a short drive, take in the sandy beaches of Porthcawl or take a hike in Porthkerry County Park. It's a quite site, privately owned with a friendly pub(seasonal opening)

Perfect for families or groups, it features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. With 3 cosy double bedrooms (one en-suite ) and shared family bathroom. The Cottage has the additional benefit to a heated shared pool, available April to October 7am-7pm. Quail Cottage is the perfect countryside escape just a short stroll from Cowbridge.

Enjoy a peaceful nights rest in our zip and link king size bed, which can alternatively be made into twin beds, complete with feather and down bedding. En-suite bathroom. The walled garden offers a serene space to enjoy your morning coffee whilst listening to the birds sing. This garden is in turn in the middle of the beautiful Merthyr Mawr estate gardens which are yours to explore.
