Lionshead Village is around 15 minutes' walk away. As far as skiing/snowboarding at Vail is concerned, you won't need your car at all. You can hop on the free town of Vail shuttle directly across the street at the Vail Run bus stop. This bus stop services 2x free bus routes (Sandstone and Lionsridge Loop) that each lead to Vail Village (1.6 miles away) in under 10 minutes. To ski anywhere besides Vail (Beaver Creek, Copper, Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin), you will need a car. This property contains a studio sized lock-off BEDROOM & BATHROOM with private entrance.
