The studio design allows flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the lounge area and bedroom.

Cairn Cottage is a 3 bedroomed house on Cathkin Estates, in the Champagne Valley of the Central Drakensberg. There are stunning views of Cathin Peak and Champagne Castle from the verandah of the cottage. Cathkin Estate has a multitude of bird and animal life, and there are numerous walks and cycle paths , to explore. Within a short drive, of the Estate, there are restaurants, golf courses, spa , monks cowl nature reserve, Falcon Ridge- Bird of Prey Centre, laundromat, shopping centre.

The lovely Drakensberg mountains can be seen clearly from the wide veranda. The complex is very secure and has little trails to the dam. Nearby, there is a tennis court, putt-putt and golf course, and many quaint places to visit.
