Private secluded treehouse retreat

20ft up nesting between three sturdy oak trees this treehouse made of recycled timbers and is surrounded by trees and has glimpses of the northdowns AONB Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is wind through the trees and birdsong. Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. There is an induction hob, cool box electric kettle and Bluetooth speaker and a variety of games .

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Skylark is ideal for visiting one of the many attractions near by (including Charleston House, Rathfinny Wine Estate, Firle Place and the medieval village of Alfriston), a stopover on the South Downs Way, a weekend of walking or just some time out to relax.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. Sans Souci is a bespoke Shepherd's hut, lovingly hand built to an incredibly high spec. Completed in April 2021, it has a double bed and double sofa bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.
