Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Ashwick

Ashwick is our accessible unit, sleeps 4, fully self contained with stainless steel appliances, gas hob, microwave, toaster, jug and dishwasher. It has a large bathroom with shower, hair dryer, heated towel rail and washing machine/drier. Heat pump, TV in lounge and bedroom and free wifi. There is a large patio to enjoy the mountain views. Note: Hot tub is an extra charge, request for a hot tub is by 2pm the day before your arrival same day reservations no hot tub is available.

The Stockman’s Cottage, Lake Ohau, NZ

Tucked away behind Lake Ohau Alpine Village & close to beautiful Lake Ohau, The Stockman’s Cottage Is an ideal holiday retreat. The cottage is a self contained one bedroom unit, ideally suited to a couple, or by prior arrangement could accommodate a young family. Visit Tekapo or Mt Cook then relax in a private wood-fired hot tub under the stars of the dark sky reserve. Very safe location. 50 mins to Mt Cook/Tekapo. 2.5 hrs to Queenstown.
