Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from cabin.

Cabin 16 is within a family resort steps away from Mississagagon Lake, in fact, you can see the lake from every window in the building. It can actually feel like an island. Acadian inspired suite features a private entry, spacious bedroom with a king bed, private 3 pc bath & mini kitchenette. Kitchenette is perfect for light snacks & tea, with a mini fridge, microwave, mini airfryer, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, mini crock, can opener, cutting board, dishes & cutlery. Perched on a majestic slab of Canadian Shield, this peaceful waterfront cottage is tucked away for absolute privacy off a quiet country road on Cranberry Lake, near Arden. The cottage features a spacious combination living room/kitchen. The space also features 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom off the upper level loft. The bird's nest solarium (accessible via one of the bedrooms), is a great lookout.

Thompson Cottages - Cottage #1 - Moira Lake

This spacious 1250 sq ft lakefront cottage located on Moira Lake, is one of three cottages on 1.2 acres. Close to all amenities in Madoc ( 5 min away). Moira Lake is 2 hours from Toronto. Get back to nature - fresh air, sun, swimming, stars at night, fishing at dawn. The cottage is perfect for couples and families (with kids) and for the avid fisherman.
