Casa da Karina

Casa da Karina was built in 1932 as part of Muritai Homestead. Now it is my home, full of character and charm, perfect to welcome friends and family. My dog Lola is only acting as a model but won’t be here during your stay. Our Cat however, stays. In the so called "green circle" of Havelock North. It is a 7-10 minute stroll into the Village where all shops and restaurants are at walking distance: even Te Mata Peak. Wineries and beaches are a short drive away. You’ll enjoy Casa da Karina.

The Homestead at Cape South is a beautiful, graciously designed French colonial-style homestead set within 16 acres of gardens and grounds. Located within 10 minutes of beautiful sandy beaches and bush reserves, has a swimming pool, spa pool and infrared sauna. The Homestead accommodation is warm & welcoming, spacious and elegantly appointed, and beautifully furnished in keeping with the style of the house. There are 6 beautifully styled ensuite bedrooms, and multiple living areas.

Cabin life in the country

2 cabins side by side with a forever changing view. Peace and quiet in the country to relax and unwind with family or friends. Each cabin is identical with a queen size bed, fridge, microwave and tv. There’s a spa pool between the 2 cabins. A bbq to cook your dinner on. The ablution block consists of a shower and toilet which is 10 metres away from the cabins . Attached is an outside sink to wash any dishes. There’s also a gym to use which is free to guests.

The Pavilion

So close to the village, yet set in the countryside there are lambs in Spring and apple trees next door. Eggs are laid by our own chooks, bread, muesli and preserves are homemade. We'll suggest places to visit and restaurants if you want to dine out. Cool off in the pool in summer or take an expertly led yoga class! Take a trip to Hastings or Napier or walk the miles of tracks in Te Mata Park. Ocean Beach is just 15 minutes away and the Sunday Farmers Market just 10!
