"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, propane grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your enjoyment. Sit in the screened in porch and listen to nature or head into Acadia National Park to explore. Bike along the private road. Relax with your family for a quick getaway or week long adventure.

Great family vacation base for a Downeast Maine Adventure. Two story, newly renovated, four season cabin with 1000 square feet of living space sits in a wooded cove off an easily-accessible rural paved road. Centrally located between the two units of Acadia National Park (Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula) and the beautiful, quiet lakes and mountains of the Donnell Pond Maine State Preserve. Although not on the water, there is access to our private Taunton Bay shore, 3.5 miles away.

Our rustic lakefront cabin is on beautiful crystal clear Beech Hill Pond near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, Maine. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and is suitable for 1 to 4 guests. It is furnished with the amenities listed as well as a dock, swimming float, fire pit with firewood, gas grill, and table and chairs. Enjoy the peacefulness from the screened in porch which overlooks the lake after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. You will hear the call of the loons while relaxing.

Our cabin is a 2 min. walk to the rocky shore of Frenchman Bay. We are half way between Acadia National Park, 45 minutes away and Schoodic Peninsula, 20 minutes away. Our cabin is cozy and peaceful. Full kitchen and a gas fireplace for your enjoyment along with a compfy bed and a compfy futon in living room. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer areas. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor National park land.
