Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both within 10 miles. For those that like mountain walking, you will be spoilt for choice. Cosy all seasons Shepherd's Hut on 3 Castles Walk

Relax with the sounds of birds and nature in this unique place. Our purpose-built super cosy Shepherd's Hut is directly on the Three Castles Walk, tucked away in a private corner of the field next to our own Eco home. Outside, there's a gazebo with table and chairs and a smoker barbeque. You can lie in bed watching the sheep and cattle in the distance or you can relax with a movie on the large screen. It's the most peaceful location we have ever lived in, and we'd love you to experience it.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Grade II listed barn conversion & Hot-tub

The Laundry barn is a recently converted Grade II listed building, dating back to the 1800’s it was originally built to do the laundry for the village estate. It has been converted to the highest standard and while retaining many of the original features that make the building so unique it now boasts all the comforts of modern living such as underfloor heating, wifi, wood burner and hot tub. Set in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside, providing easy access to all the area has to offer.

Ideally located for exploring Tintern Abbey, floral Usk, Abergavenny and Monmouth (all under 10 miles) visitors can also enjoy golf courses abound and the Breacon Beacons, Offa's Dyke, Wye and Usk Valleys which all provide good walking.

Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

Just 4 miles from Abergavenny with views of the Brecon Beacons and many walks and bike rides along quiet roads, from the door. Own entrance, to private accommodation, comprising sitting room with wood burner, upstairs landing area with kitchenette ( microwave, no oven), shower room, and one beautiful beamed double bedroom. One mile from Raglan this little house is seriously comfortable. A great base for anyone visiting the Welsh borders. It has its own garden but there is plenty more garden, a pond and an orchard to explore and relax in. The wildlife and night skies here are spectacular! Well equipped with a huge sofa, WiFi, TV and Netflix. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. If there is anything you need just ask the owner who lives next door.
