COUNTRY GUESTHOUSE: Looking for a quiet get away in a country environment close to the Black Hills, Ellsworth Airforce Base, the Event Center and Regional Airport in Rapid City? We are near several attractions including Mt. Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Badlands, plus many more. We also have several animals on our property including horses, dogs, cats and wildlife such as antelope. It involves a private entrance with a rustic atmosphere and open concept with all modern amenities.

Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, the Take a Hike Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains where you can find 59,000 acres of mixed prairie grass, ancient mountains, lakes, streams, and miles upon miles of trails waiting to be discovered. The Lazy Buffalo has 13 themed cabins. The spacious Take a Hike Cabin is handicap accessible, sleeps 2 guests, and offers a king size bed and bathroom with a roll in tiled shower.

Cool Cats' Den: Comfort and Convenience

One-bed, guest apartment with privacy, roominess, functionality, and walkability. Cats’ Den is housed in the Vineyard House in historic Eugene Field neighborhood; accommodates 2 couples, 2-4 unrelated adults, or a family. KSU Alumni Center, WWI Memorial Stadium, and Student Union are within 2 short blocks. Aggieville, a brief walk away. In the vicinity of Campus South and beyond. Close to popular coffeeshops, restaurants/pubs, shops, museums, and parks on campus, in Aggieville, and downtown.
