This centrally located cabin seated on a private 6-acre lot provides easy access to local favorites such as Copper Harbor, Mt Bohemia, Mt Ripley, Lake Superior, 1.5mi from UP17, and 3mi from UP13 ATV/snowmobile and bike trails. Close to many public boat ramps.Equipped with a full kitchen and living room, this cabin sleeps up to six people with a full bath. Ample parking for ATV/snowmobile trailers. The cabin is a short drive to Calumet, Hancock, and Houghton.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. Rest, relax and unwind. Welcome to Simply Superior Cottage located on beautiful Lake Superior on Big Traverse Bay. Private sandy beach along with a beautiful sunrise. Cottage has just been completely remodeled, along with a large enclosed sun room. Your just steps away from a dive into refreshing Lake Superior, sauna allows for a bit more heat to help that dive along. Cottage is located 2 miles from a boat launch, with snowmobile trails nearby, Mt Bohemia ski resort is 19 miles away.

Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Stairlift from garage. Queen sized bed with additional pullout couch (about full sz) and toddler bed.

We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
