This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. “Sjógylt” Historisk strandhus med spa i Vestmanna

Hyggeligt historisk hus med naturskøn beliggenhed. Få skridt fra stranden med smuk panorama udsigt til idyllisk natur. Alt er inden for gåafstand. Rolige og smukke omgivelser, trods den centrale beliggenhed. Huset er hyggeligt indrettet med entre, fuldt udstyret separat køkken, badeværelse med bruser og vaskemaskine. To soveværelser med to senge hver og en stue med sovesofa. To terrasser, den store foran med tilhørende havemøbler og spa i månederne fra april -september som også kan benyttes.

Our boathouse offers an idyllic base for those looking to retreat and enjoy nature, while having the fresh sea air and breathtaking views right outside the door. just a short walk away lies a stretch of sand, ideal for dipping, or unwind to the soothing sound of the waves. For those wanting to explore further, a bus service runs to Klaksvík, the second largest city in the Faroe Islands.

The house is located in Tjørnuvík, which is believed to be one of the oldest villages in the Faroe Islands. It is only fortyfive minutes to drive from Tórshavn, and one hour to drive from Vágar airport. The house is an old traditional house with interior kept in sixties style. There are four bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom, two toilets - one with shower. It's suited for up to eight people + two kids. A lot of time to reload your batteries in quiet and peaceful surroundings with no TV.

Í Fjósinum

Í Fjósinum Glæd dig til at bo i et af Færøernes ældste huse. I dette hus kan du nyde den helt særlige stemning, af hjemlig og hyggelig atmosfære. Her er skæve vinkler, lavt til loftet, og en noget stejl trappe op til loftet, men dog god at gå på, hvor 2 soveværelser og badeværelse er. I stueetagen er der gangen, stuen og køkkenet, som er nænsomt renoveret, for to år siden. Der er udsigt til søen og de høje fjelde fra vinduerne.

The cottage stands very close to the sea with a view of the fjord, the nearby marina and Torshavn. The house's unique location makes it possible to observe a varied wildlife of seabirds, some seals, fishing boats, cruise liners and container ships up close. This small house has two floors. The kitchen and living room are combined in one room on the ground floor and the bedroom and bathroom are on the 1. Floor.

Blue boathouse in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands

Experience this newly built boathouse located right by the seafront and only 100 m from a grocery store, local bakery/cafe, public svimming/spa hall and public busses. The boathouse is 50 m2 + a loft equipped with all modern conveniences. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom and the main area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a sofa area with a TV that has access to several channels and wifi.

This is a unique igloo-inspired accommodation. The house is built to the highest environmental sustainability standards with ground-thermal heating, isolation, sustainable materials, and more. It is located in the charming village of Leynar, a central base to explore much of the Faroe Islands. The accommodation only 25 KM (16 Miles) from both the airport and the capital.
