Sherrington Stables is on the edge of the enchanting hamlet of Sherrington with its picturesque watercress beds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a delightful, well equipped, single storey cottage which makes a charming and relaxing retreat. There is one bedroom with a queen size (5 foot) bed and the living room has an imported American (Castro Convertibles) queen size sofa bed. Ideally suited for a couple, or a couple with two children, or two couples as long as one couple are happy with the sofa bed. Peacefully set in the grounds of the owner's three hundred year old thatched farmhouse, it has wonderful walks right from the door.

The cottage sleeps four, 1 large master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small bedroom with adult bunks (plus a guest bed for a fifth guest). Well behaved dogs are welcome! Organic toiletries, bath robes, well equipped kitchen, wood burner, super fast Wifi, garden and beautiful walks straight out of the front door.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.
