Just metres from Porthilly Beach on the stunning Camel Estuary, aptly named 'Little Tides' is a beautifully converted barn. The property is tucked away in a sought after cove location on the grounds of Porthilly Farm, just a short walk across the beach to Rock. This charming little gem is an idyllic coastal getaway perfect for romantic breaks, taking it easy by the sea or for adventurous getaways alike. We run a working dairy and shellfish farm and our oysters & mussels are grown in the estuary.

Accommodating between 4 and 6 people, there are 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite, a mezzanine level with 2 chair beds, a shower room and stunning open plan kitchen and living space. The private garden with patio, seating and BBQ overlooks farmland. Perfectly situated in a quiet corner of North Cornwall, it is within easy distance of beautiful beaches and open moorland.

Cancleave has been in our family since 1962. During the winter of 2020/21 it underwent a complete reconstruction to create a modern, energy-efficient and supremely comfortable retreat. Nestled on the coast road between Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay, the property occupies around half an acre of lawned garden bordering the South West Coast Path. From here you can enjoy breathtaking views across Bude Bay as far as Lundy Island, as well as inland vistas stretching all the way to Dartmoor.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. Whether it be amenities, restaurants and cafes (season-permitting) nice pubs, or Trebarwith Strand Beach, the stunning N. Cornwall clifftop walks and Tintagel Castle...all are minutes of the house by foot/car. The property sleeps 5. The 2nd room has bunk beds and the double bunk at the bottom does not have much head room. Pls note that this is better for children/smaller adults. One towel inc. per person.

Outside the patio catches the sun from morning until evening, outside there is patio furniture, sun loungers and a bbq so you can relax and unwind. A self-contained, single-level property that is close to Davidstow & Bodmin Moor and a short drive to Boscastle, Tintagel, Bude and Camelford. It is well placed for local walks and excursions. There is outside space to enjoy along with views to Roughtor, the moor & the tallest hill in Cornwall, Brown Willy. The grassland around the property is perfect for active little legs (children or pets) to have a good stretch - we've even got enough tarmac for bikes, skateboards and roller-skates!
