2 insulated warm cabins available, these are private with each having its own bathroom and area for hot drinks or basic cooking. Wifi does work for some phones but for some reason not all. Plenty of parking for boat trailers, pet friendly but please make sure they have had their hydatids shots, BBQ available on request. We are only 5 mins from lake Opua, 20 mins to Lake Tekapo, 30 mins up to the top of Mt Dobson ski field, 7 mins to Fairlie, Kimbell Pub 5 mins. This is a rural farming location.

Cottage stay Staveley + breakfast, no cleaning fee

The cottage annex is purpose built for guests , it is to one side of our heritage cottage, a warm and inviting 2 level guest accommodation. Fully independent from the main cottage, with a large double bedroom with en suite, loft room with mountain views, seating & kitchenette. Complimentary breakfast items add to the guest experience. Set in a beautiful area of the foothills, with open rural and mountain views. Close to Mt Hutt & Opuke hot pools. Trails nearby. No additional cleaning fee.

Hamilton View - Fairlie

Warm spacious double glazed queen bedroom with your own ensuite bathroom. Own external access to room. Perfect if you want your own space and a little privacy. Great views of mountain range. Perfect spot to sit outside and observe the night skies on a clear night. Located in the country but just 6 kilometres to Fairlie and its services. Heaps of free parking. Tea, coffee, fridge, microwave, toastie maker, cutlery & crockery provided in room. There are NO full kitchen facilities.

Michaelvale Bed & Breakfast

Peace and tranquility. Situated 12kms from Fairlie and only 30mins drive to Lake Tekapo our self contained accommodation is a perfect place to relax. We provide a warm and sunny studio unit which includes a delicious continental breakfast and is private from your hosts home nearby. Amazing star gazing and just 2kms from Lake Opuha for those keen on fishing, boating, kayaking, biking and walking. This is a spectacular and peaceful rural setting with amazing views of the mountains.

Take a Break in the Country - 1 Bedroom Apartment

This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, chickens and 1 dog.

Green Door Studio

Enjoy the fresh and colourful vibe of this fully decorated studio. It has a queen and single bedroom ( with two single beds ) and a bright kitchenette, dining, living space with couch and freeview tv. It is fully self contained and has its own entrance but is attached to the main house where the hosts live. The kitchenette has a microwave and small appliances for basic cooking/reheating but is not suitable for every night cooking as there is no ventilation for strong odours.

Xantippe Downs - Separate unit in Peaceful Setting

Separate studio is ideal for couples, solo travelers or business person. Located not far from the town centre but has a rural feel, giving you peace and quiet. Queen bed, fridge, toaster, tea/coffee facilities, continental breakfast and Wifi (now with Satellite giving good connection) A nice comfortable and cosy place to stay. Geraldine is a vibrant town offering boutique shopping, cafes and numerous outdoor activities. Access is via a Lock Box, giving you total control.

Our cosy cottage sits on the peaceful grounds of The Old Manse, a grand 1880s villa nestled on 1.5 acres of native trees in Pleasant Point. Private, quiet, and set well back from the road with plenty of parking. Just 10 mins to Timaru Airport and Levels Raceway, 15 mins to Timaru and Fairlie, and under an hour to Lake Tekapo, Mt Dobson and Roundhill ski fields. Peace & tranquility take over as you are far enough out of town, while actually only being 2 minutes from Temuka's Town Centre, 15 minutes from Timaru's Caroline Bay and Town Centres Cafes and Shops and 8 minutes from Fonterra's Clandeboye Site.

Country Lodge Stay in Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve

Our self-contained private suite sleeps two with a private bathroom. Nearby, a room with a king single and trundler is available. Inside the host's house, a queen bedroom with its own dedicated bathroom is offered. The lodge includes a private entrance, covered parking, kitchenette, spacious living areas, and garden access. Guests can enjoy the seasonal heated pool, hot tub, and stunning views of the Mackenzie landscape. Designed for privacy and comfort.

Sunny, self contained rooms including separate kitchenette & bathroom with access to shared deck & garden. Own access, twin single beds & free ON STREET PARKING. No extra cleaning fee. I personally clean thoroughly and sanitise all hard surfaces, but expect you to clean, dry & put stuff away that you use where you found them. Bus is Myway, which you book & it picks to up close by or 25-30 minutes walk to town centre, 5 min drive. Supermarket 10 mins walk.

Rivendell is a traditional New Zealand villa and is situated in a secluded position with beautiful gardens and offers peace and tranquility. The studio unit which is situated at the rear of the property and is attached to the main house has all the facilities you would require.
