Downhill skiing at Gore Mountain is only 30 minutes away. Pharaoh Lake Wilderness area is 10 minutes away with trails to mountains, lakes, streams and ponds for a variety of activities including hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, swimming, boating and snowmobiling.

Paddle-board around the protected bay, rent a boat and go out on Lake George's peaceful north end and return to your own dock space, sip coffee during the sunrise on the screened porch and head over to your private beach with views of rogers rock for the sunset!

Only 2 miles from Schroon Lake boat launch and Word of Life. Minutes to Brant Lake & Loon Lake. A short drive to beautiful Lake George and nearby Gore Mountain. The area offers: swimming, hiking, bicycling, fishing, golfing, canoeing & kayaking, river tubing, adventure course, rodeos, skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, & snowmobiling.

SCHROON RIVER RETREAT ❤️ Escape to the tranquility of the Schroon River with over 2 acres of private land and over 375 ft of direct Waterfront. We are nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks right off I87. Gore Mountain is a short 25 minute drive and Lake George is about 15 minutes away. Our home is located off a private road in the town of Warrensburg. Our waterfront has no motorized boats so it is perfect for swimming, tubing, kayaking or canoeing and offers great trout fishing.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

The River House

This beautiful, spacious home has been in our family for years. The property rests on a large piece of wooded acreage and is 200 yds. from a private beach on Schroon River, and also within ten minutes of the Schroon Lake beach. This home is for guests that are looking to have a relaxing get away. It is not to be rented for any type of party or event. We can not tolerate damage done to the home because of partying. You will be responsible for any damage done to the house.

A 1900 farmhouse that has been in the family for generations. Recently renovated to accommodate up to 5 guests, it is clean with simple furnishings and a SPECTACULAR VIEW! Located RIGHT ON NYS RTE 86 (close to the road) with easy access to nearby attractions. The house is split in 2 and is designed for 2 families. I rent out "The View" using airbnb exclusively. My wife and I reside in the back portion of the house with a separate entrance and separate parking.

Our single story 2 bedroom 1 bath home is located within 30 minutes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush ski areas and the quaint towns of Bristol, Richmond and Waitsfield. Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails are nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.
