Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Arctic Aurora Hideaway

Take the front seat for seeing Northern lights from August to end of April. Whole property with a suite for 6 adults, with small children even for 8. Welcome to Ollero Eco Lodge – a private riverside retreat on the Arctic Circle near Rovaniemi. The entire property is reserved for one group at a time, ensuring full privacy. The lodge sleeps up to 6 guests (8 with extra beds) in three buildings. Only 10 minutes from Rovaniemi centre, yet surrounded by forest, river and minimal light pollution – ideal for Northern Lights viewing in season. Enjoy Finnish sauna and, in winter, a refreshing dip in the frozen river for a true Arctic experience.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi shore, only some steps to the water or ice. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive with no street lights.

Koe Lapin luonnon rauha ja yötön yö ainutlaatuisessa lasiseinäisessä elämyslaavussa erämaajärven rannalla. Majoitus pedattuna 3:lle, omissa makuupusseissa yöpyville jopa 5 makuupaikkaa. Minikeittiössä keittolevy, mikro, jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, leivänpaahdin ja astiat (lasit, mukit, lautaset, kahvipressot ruokailuvälineet jne.). Vieressä olevalla rantasaunalla suihkut. Kompostoiva puucee. Sauna on puulämmitteinen. Opastamme tarvittaessa saunan lämmityksessä. Käytössä kesällä ja alkusyksystä.

Relax in a private hot tub after winter activities? We offer accommodation in a cozy and modern Scandinavian style cabin with all essentials. Our compact cabin is equipped a twin bed, sofa, kitchen with basic cooking facilities, fireplace, toilet and sauna. You can rent trekking skis and electric fatbikes from us.

Tässä ainutlaatuisessa ja rauhallisessa lomakohteessa on helppo rentoutua puhtaan luonnon keskellä. Mökki sijaitsee pienessä kylässä keskellä Lapin erämaata. Täällä voit harrastaa hiihtoa, lumikenkäilyä sekä kalastusta. Lisäksi järjestämme moottorikelkka retkiä toiveiden mukaan. Mökiltä on matkaa Rovaniemen kaupunkiin noin 75km. Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
