'The Edge' is situated in Binalong Bay, right in the heart of the stunning Bay of Fires conservation area on Tasmania's East coast. A quiet peaceful retreat, it sits right on the edge of the tranquil Grants lagoon and a lovely lagoon-side walk takes you to the beaches the area is famous for. The open plan space is warm and bright, receiving all day sun. Beautiful views over the water and surrounded by a large sundeck and a semi tropical garden - The Edge is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Easy access to little bayside beaches and the walking/cycling foreshore track are only metres from the house or alternatively wander into the CBD for dining , groceries and shopping . The Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is set amongst a beautiful bush setting, close to the stunning Bay of Fires beaches, and only 2.5km from the Binalong Bay township, and 8km from St Helens. The Bush Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen ready for guests to use at their leisure, or for those who would prefer to take a more relaxed option, we have our Platter Bar and pre-prepared meals made by our in-house chefs, as well as our Bush Retreat Breakfast $25pp that can be pre-booked prior to arrival.

A peaceful place to relax after exploring the beautiful Bay of Fires area, swimming, surfing, walking or mountain biking on nearby tracks. The Shack on the Hill has beautiful views across forest reserves. Keep an eye out for the amazing birdlife including parrots, cockatoos, robins, blue wrens and Sea Eagles cruising past. The cottage has a large open plan kitchen/dining and living area and a large covered deck for outdoor dining and perfect for coffee in the morning sun.
