The Cottage at The Old Rectory, Oaksey is a one bedroom self catering cottage with widespread views of the Cotswold countryside. Ideally situated in the grounds of the main house it provides a great balance between privacy and the use of the gardens. It has one double bedroom with plenty of cupboard space, a lounge, kitchen with small breakfast area and a bathrrom fitted with a walkin shower. The village is conveniently located for the M5, with J14 approx. 10 mins by car, and the A38 a similar distance. Easy access to local market towns of Thornbury and Wotton-under-Edge, as well as to Bristol and Bath. The barn is next door to our home but entirely self-contained and private with parking for two cars.

This property offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday. we have a local shop in the village run by local volunteers offering a good friendly service with an array of local produce. Next to the shop is the village recreation ground with a designated play area suitable for a game of football or even a picnic. The local Old Fox pub and restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the cottage , a very popular place to eat and it would be advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Cottage is now open again, following a major extension project. A stylish spacious Cotswold stone cottage with open plan kitchen dining living space, wood burning stove and 3 bedrooms. Main bedroom has French doors overlooking Cotswold countryside and enjoys the morning sun. The bedroom opens onto a spacious luxury en-suite bathroom with large shower and separate bath. There are two further bedrooms, each with a double bed, one of which has an en suite shower room.

Perfectly located for RIAT, being walking distance from the Green Entry Point, The Old Bakery At The Grange is an ideal cottage for exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer whatever the season. We are a few minutes’ walk away from The Old Spotted Cow pub. The cottage is full of country character and the interiors reflect our love of travel. Due to the character features of the cottage, it is unsuitable for very young toddlers and those unsteady on their feet.
