Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Sonka Resort – Mirror House • Lake View

Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Ternu Forestvilla

You can enjoy the nature and scenery to the river during your stay. While you are enjoying the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, you might have chance to see the northern lights. This mini house can accommodate 4 people comfortably but we have beds even for 6. It has full kitchen and living room with windows facing river, sauna, shower, toilet and two bedrooms with big windows facing the forest. Outside it has two spacious terrace's, one with jacuzzi. The building has just been completed.

Spacious granny cottage with sauna for rent in the countryside of Kemijoki, near the old railway station. Good central location halfway between Kemi (69km) and Rovaniemi (50km) near the 4 road. If necessary, transport is arranged through us. Rowing boat and bicycles for renters. Local company offer different activities according to the seasons. Feel free to ask! We agree on a case-by-case basis whether we allow pets. Public beach within walking distance.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Holiday Home Lumimarja

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.
