Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

The Kanga house sports a large covered deck with great views, full kitchen, 3 piece bathroom and a covered carport. (Seasonal Hot tub/Cool Pool is available for extra fee) Enjoy the incredible views, fantastic star gazing, two semi-wet creeks to hike just out your backdoor, very quiet property. We now offer an above ground pool for guests.

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Each one-room adobe casita is a blend of simplicity and comfort. Featuring minimalist interiors and distinctive arched doors amid desert scenery. Kushala is a 2400 sq ft Spanish-style adobe home on 20 acres of ocotillo, mesquite, cactus and wildflowers with 360 degree views of Big Bend mountains. 11 miles to Terlingua ghost town and 9 miles to the Big Bend National Park, you can enjoy hikes or drives in the day time, relax at home at night or go out to the Ghost town for dining and music.
