Short walk to restaurants, bars, coffee, gift shop & galleries - yet far enough away to provide a private space. Hosted by long-time locals who offer insights, not just a code to a door!

Casa Vista Grande

Casa Vista Grande sits on a hilltop with spectacular unobstructed views of Big Bend NP and the Chisos Mtns. It's 1.3 miles south of Terlingua on a good dirt road…off Hwy 170. It is 6 miles to the entrance of BBNP. The river, mountain biking, hiking, and stables are nearby. Our remodeled 1200 sq. ft. adobe house features one bedroom with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, large bathroom with tiled shower, fire pit, and two covered porches.

Casa Luna, Desert Retreat

Casa Luna was originally built as a yoga studio. Accommodations include: privacy, and space for an immersive desert experience with excellent star gazing. Located less than two miles west of the Terlingua Ghostown, this space offers unobstructed views of the Chisos Mountains, a full kitchen, and full separate bathroom. A 1,400 square foot open studio space with three queen sized beds accommodates six people comfortably. Not suitable for mobility impaired, or children under 12. We live on site.

Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

The Kanga house sports a large covered deck with great views, full kitchen, 3 piece bathroom and a covered carport. (Seasonal Hot tub/Cool Pool is available for extra fee) Enjoy the incredible views, fantastic star gazing, two semi-wet creeks to hike just out your backdoor, very quiet property. We now offer an above ground pool for guests.

Kushala Wildhorse Mountain

Welcome to Kushala! Great for families and large groups. Kushala is a 2400 sq ft Spanish-style adobe home on 20 acres of ocotillo, mesquite, cactus and wildflowers with 360 degree views of Big Bend mountains. 11 miles to Terlingua ghost town and 9 miles to the Big Bend National Park, you can enjoy hikes or drives in the day time, relax at home at night or go out to the Ghost town for dining and music. Sleeps 10 comfortably, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, fireplace, ceiling fans, front/back porches.

The home has a queen bed & fold down sofa. The house is a 35 minute drive to Big Bend National Park & the Terlingua Ghost town via a gorgeous drive.
