Your cottage is right beside the sea with private jetty and mooring in our own little Bay. Cook your meals in your fully equipped kitchen. Your hosts Marty and Sabine live close by. This is a beautiful, wild forested place with no roads or cars but rich with birdsong and silence. A great place to relax, swim, fish, walk or row in the bay. Sea access only. Pelorus Mail Boat service cheapest option charging $50 per person or half price for children 15 yrs or under. 3 private Havelock water taxis.

Our Kayaks for your use, & our shoreline deck are a 2 minute walk down to the beach. A great spot to relax in the sun. Outdoor BBQ area and spa pool sets the scene for your relaxing break away. All sliding doors open up onto a large deck, perfect for soaking in the picturesque view. Our mooring may be available

Vintage Caravans by the Sea

Unplug and unwind, chilling between our two 1960's caravans nestled in bush in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Wake up to spectacular water views & enjoy the tranquility of the native bush & birdsong. This unique setup offers one caravan as a bedroom and a separate kitchen/living room caravan. A diesel central heating system has been installed to heat both. Enjoy the rustic charm & views from the hot water bush shower & the novelty of the separate 'loo with a view' in the hut above.

The key features: - Beach front sea views - Large front and back lawn - Filleting station - Outdoor shower - Large sleep out - Multiple outdoor areas - Huge parking - Indoor and outdoor fire - Cosy and homely feel - Central location to boat ramp, children’s playground, local dairy and beach NB - You do have to clean the Bach and leave it ready for the next group plus BYO linen and towels, cloths etc.

Valley Views - rural studio unit + stunning views

Escape the city and see the stars at this rural hideaway with breathtaking views. Take in the night sky whilst relaxing on the deck or view the morning sunrise from the comfort of being in bed. Located 20 minutes drive north from Nelson city, a unique converted container studio unit sits on a rural 5 acre property beside the main house. It has it's own entrance off our shared driveway. Handy to Happy Valley Adventure Park and stunning Cable Bay - a 15 minute drive down the valley.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

Queen Charlotte Hideaway

Lap up stunning tidal water views over to the sweet fishing village of Havelock and beyond to the breathtaking Pelorus Sounds. Our guesthouse decorated with a stylish Pacific vibe. The property is waterfront so the views are amazing - weather it’s sunny or cloudy and has sunsets to die for. The water is tidal so at high tide the water laps at our lawn. At low tide we have expansive mud flats which are equally beautiful. The view is constantly changing.
