It is a standalone structure, flanked by massive, millennia-old, Himalayan rock features that give this home its uniqueness. The Barrack was recently renovated and re-decorated and now offers guest all the modern amenities and appliances needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors are modern and tasteful . They retain the colonial Himalayan home charm, with elements of pine ceilings and wood framed windows .

We have a warm and dependable caretaker-cum-cook and a helpful assistant, both are like family to us and make sure every guest feels at home.

Lal Kothi is chef Sameer Sewak & his family's home in countryside Dehradun. It is surrounded table top views of Mussoorie hills, Tons river, Sal forests. Guests get the 2nd floor with a private access. The space includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/lounge, 2 terraces & balconies. Included in your stay is a complimentary breakfast. Guests get to order vegetarian & non-vegetarian delicacies for lunch & dinner from the dehradun famous Awadhi cuisine menu designed by Chef Sameer & his mother Swapna.

The cottage is within a Kiwi and Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. We have Airtel wifi. There is private parking available for 2 cars. From the parking spot to the cottage, there is a gradual walk of about 90 meters. This walk is inside our orchard and not on the road. We have a caretaker and staff on the property to cook for you.
