'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

Green Tree Haven–Peaceful Estuary Near Abel Tasman

Green Tree Haven is a peaceful waterfront nature escape on a quiet estuary with trees, colorful garden, and birdlife. At high tide, launch a kayak from the front lawn and explore the calm water of Tasman Bay. Only 5 minutes to Motueka, 10 minutes to the golden beaches of Kaiteriteri, and 20 minutes to Marahau, gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. You can bike on The Great Taste Trail. The house is well situated 5 minutes from the local town of Motueka, where you will find a great selection of shops and amenities. Get out on your bikes to join the Great Taste Trail. Short drive to a swimming hole perfect in summer and close to Kaiteriteri Beach - start of the Abel Tasman Track. Enjoy your stay waking up to birdsong and views of Mount Arthur. Note: Two friendly, loveable resident cats.
