cherry cottage We welcome you to stay in our cute little farm cottage here in sunny Motueka Valley. It is privately situated on the property and overlooking the plum orchard and the stunning Kahurangi mountains. The cottage sleeps up to 5 people with 3 people in the main cottage and 2 people in the little sleep out. The cottage has a modern, cozy and intimate feel and is set up with everything you might need for your stay including WiFi, washing machine, BBQ area, Kitchen, TV, Heating, AC, etc.

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

Kitchen consists of fridge, microwave, electric fry pan, toaster, jug,bench oven. Laundry- with washing machine. Pets on request

We are 8 minutes drive away from Motueka and one of the regions most popular cafes and 1 km down the road you can join up with the Great Taste Bike Trail. We are central to the national parks, beaches and many more adventures

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
