The Stand Alone is an intimate, earthy retreat made for 2 Our cabin is a sanctuary where forest meets the sea, a quiet place for communion and reconnection with nature. Amid the salty air and birdsong, our bed looks to the trees and a deep bath with unlimited hot water. Humble living in luxury, the wood stove keeps things cozy and Belgian cushions are perfect for sprawling out in the evenings. Located in sleepy Lufra Cove, a magical corner of Eaglehawk Neck. Set amongst native gum and banksia the cabin overlooks the clear waters of little Norfolk Bay. Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

Weekend with Arthur

Weekend with Arthur is a 15 minute walk from the Port Arthur Historic site, with views of Point Puer from the spacious covered deck. Walk 15 minutes in the opposite direction and you’ll experience the spectacular views of the Remarkable Caves. Whether it’s partaking in the many beautiful walks in the area, or sightseeing at the historic site or Pennicotts journeys, or you’re looking for a place to relax, Weekend with Arthur is the perfect shack to enjoy all the Tasman Peninsula has to offer.

Carlton River Escape

Carlton River Escape was completed in 2023 and built as a peaceful hide away retreat on the back 50 acres of our property. It is nestled right beside our Swift Parrot Conservation Forest area which also shares it space with our local wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pademelons, possums, and eagles. Amid the fresh Tassie air, and the incredible forest views, you will feel completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the luxury of a secluded brand new home.

The Studio: unique seclusion & private beach

An epic location at the end of a private road is a fully self-contained studio designed by renowned Tasmanian architects Circa Morris-Nunn . Beautiful and wild, historic and sensitive to its surrounds. The Studio is edged by Pittwater Estuary and the Coal River. A remote hideaway just 30 mins from Hobart and 15 mins to Richmond and Coal River wineries and restaurants.. Relax and unwind on your own private beach. Enjoy the art, some of which has been made in the studio itself.
