The Gardener's Greenhouse - Self contained BnB

The Gardener’s Greenhouse is a peaceful studio on 2 hectares of land overlooking a garden, wetlands and cycle trail beyond. It is on a lifestyle block in a semi-rural subdivision, half way between Motueka and Mapua, with Kaiteriteri, Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, not much further away. You will need a car to get around. Start your Great Taste Trail here with home baking, a continental breakfast tray for your first morning, free range eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables from our garden.

Travelling North or South and need a stop over ? We are just off Highway 6 at beautiful Gowan Bridge. On offer is the top storey of our house, 3x bedrooms, shower room, separate toilet, lounge with kitchenette and balcony. Our property has 24 acres of paddocks and Manuka forest bordered by the beautiful Buller and Gowan rivers and National Park. Large Park like garden. We offer you country hospitality and a quiet homely atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE you are able to use our full kitchen if required.

The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.
