With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Welcome to a light-filled garden apartment in a charming 1885 villa, with high ceilings, timber floors, and beautiful natural light. The apartment sleeps two and includes an en-suite bathroom. A fold-out chair bed with linen is available for a third guest if needed. Enjoy your private garden with lounge chairs, a BBQ, and seasonal grapes and feijoas — a peaceful retreat just a short walk from the city centre. The airport e-bus stops right outside, making arrivals and departures easy.

A beautiful home in a stunning location overlooking Marahau, Adele Island and Abel Tasman National Park. Built with earth block and wood, this home has a warm and inviting character, surrounded by native forest, you will relax to the sound of Bell birds and Tuis. The master bedroom opens onto a private patio facing north, to capture morning sun and the ever-present view of the National Park. Two further bedrooms look out over native forest, creating plenty of space for family or guests.

The Courtyard - in a beautiful rural location

The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.

Relax in this very peaceful and private setting of this new Studio Apartment with the feeling of being in the Countryside. It is situated 6 km from Nelson CBD and close to bus service into town. There is one parking space available on our section, breakfast is included in your stay. Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.
