It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Tucked under the magnificent Tahquitz Peak and nestled between mature, towering pine, cedar and oak trees. The views are magical and restorative. Listen to the birds chirping, the woodpeckers pecking, the wind rustling through the trees…and sometimes…the silence. This is the perfect spot for you to unwind, recharge, restore, connect, disconnect, think and not think.

Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
