Et godt utgangspunkt for å utforske Lofoten. Boligen del av en generasjonsbolig med egen inngang. Det er mulig å parkere to biler utenfor huset, om sommeren tre. Moderne rorbu, ny 2018, til leie på Ballstad. Utsikt til store deler av den kjente Lofotveggen. Fjellene med turstier rett utenfor døren. Den populære Hauklandstranda ligger ca 15 minutter fra rorbua. Leknes by, flyplass og hurtigruten i kort avstand til rorbua. Ønsker du å prøve lykken i den fiskerike Vestfjorden, er leie av båt mulig. I månedene jan-april pågår det kjente Lofotfisket, og du kan oppleve dette fisket på Ballstad, som er et av Lofotens største og livskraftige fiskevær.

Kayaks can be rented if experienced or with lidence. The house from the 19th century and was an active merchant area with steamboat harbor, postoffice, and market. Renovated with new bathroom. The sauna has amazing views of the sea and mountains. Charger for electric or plug-in car is available.
