It's a great location to see the Northern lights /Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right. The cottage is one area and has double bed (160x200cm) and a sleeping sofa. We provide linen, towels and soap etc. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have a baby crib and high chair for your children. The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!
