Our cabin's a win-win

In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. If you're looking for a little hush and a lot less rush, you're going to fall in love with this little home away from home. While you're visiting, get the scoop on how we transformed this coop.

Private entrance. You have a completely updated/ remodeled private space on the walk-out level of my home. Open floor plan, a carpeted bedroom with KING bed, a full-size memory foam sleeper sofa, a living room, mini-kitchen, laundry and bath. The mini-kitchen has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, table/chairs. The desk, with woods view, is a perfect place to reflect, read, and write. Many extras. Snacks. Quiet residential area of Dubuque. I live upstairs with my dog.

Quiet, private country location to relax and unwind. 9 miles west of Dubuque, close to Wineries, Heritage Trail, Sundown Mountain Resort. Cozy cabin and quarter acre pond. Sun yourself on the patio, or nap in the shade of the covered porch. We're sure you will love this space as much as we do. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children and no pets. Outdoor relaxing space, gas grill. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Unique "tree house" - an octagon tiny house, surrounded by the woods! 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home you can enjoy the views of nature all around, with floor to ceiling windows. One king bed, one queen bed. Modern comforts with fun flash blacks. Private hot tub and firepit look into serene woods! Sit by the indoor gas fireplace and enjoy our record collection. Custom Floating Suite-HOT TUB!

Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Unplug and get back to nature

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Carpeted loft includes a sleep number queen sized bed and two twin beds. Close to Historic Galena & Apple Canyon State Park

Drake House: City View with Private Hot Tub

Welcome to the City View overlooking downtown Dubuque and the Millwork District. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 people and is on the third floor. It is a contemporary styled unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a ready to cook-in kitchen, a dining area, a tv in each bedroom and a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace. Step out on the private back balcony and relax in the private hot tub after a long day of exploring. We hope you enjoy and relax during your stay.

The Riverbottom (Tiny Home 2)

Have you ever wanted to stay in a Tiny Home but haven't had the opportunity? Now you can stay in a custom built Tiny Home right along the mighty Mississippi River in Bellevue Iowa! These Tiny Log Cabin Homes feature all the comforts of a standard home including Heat/AC, Kitchen, Bathroom, living room and sleeping loft. Each Tiny Home sleeps 4 adults with a queen bed in the loft and a pull out sofa in the living room. Outside is a private picnic area.

Home by the River

Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This home has been recently refurbished and sits at the edge of our 15 acres. You can see us and visit with us if you like, or you can maintain privacy 10 acres away!
