Serene, spacious yurt nestled in the forest. Enjoy the calls of owls & frog songs. Perfect for a quiet retreat weekend for a single person or couple. Detached bathhouse includes composting toilet & outdoor shower. Woodfired sauna can be arranged for an additional fee. Massage therapy may also be arranged, as available, in studio onsite. Yurt is rustic, clean, cozy, and beautiful. Heat source is a propane fireplace. Full kitchen. No wifi & limited cell phone service. Unplug for the weekend!

The Hollow is tucked quietly into the woods on South Whidbey — a place where time slows and the world feels just a little farther away. A thermostat-controlled fireplace keeps things perfectly warm, even when the forest fog drifts through the cedars. There’s a French press, a hammock under the trees, and an outdoor shower that somehow makes morning coffee taste better. If you’ve been meaning to take a breath, to reset, or just escape the noise for a couple nights, The Hollow is waiting.

Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.

Tucked into the trees above the cabins with a secluded, natural feel, the yurt has partial views of the water. Queen bed, futon, indoor table and chairs, private deck with chairs. The yurt has access to a cook pavilion with a Refrigerator/Freezer, electrical outlets, sink and a communal bathhouse with three private bathrooms. Linens are NOT included but are available for an additional charge. Use of kayaks, paddle boards, row boats included with rental (subject to availability)

Welcome to the Sea Star~ a cozy yurt you'll find bright, rustic, and well-kept in a rural Northwest neighborhood 5 miles from maritime Port Townsend. Yurts are round sturdy canvas structures. Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room and private deck in a temperate rainforest setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing. Pets welcome. Not suitable for small children or infants. Your hosts, Mark and Sara, live on the property.
