Family Beach Cottage

Third generation family cottage with beach, private hot tub on the deck and amazing views of Tomales Bay. The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. If you need more space, you can also book our Rustic Beach Cottage, which is directly next door and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as its own outdoor hot tub and fabulous bay view.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Recently renovated, restored original wood paneling , new kitchen and bathroom. We are a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach and Pacific Ocean. We are in walking distance to groceries, dining, and everything the small town of Stinson Beach has to offer. Peekaboo views from the deck of ocean and town. You can hear the waves when the windows are open. This is a rustic spot, both Stinson itself and our apartment. Fiber internet added 2024.

Our home is located 3 houses in from the ocean. With 3 cozy bedrooms and a bungalow in the yard and 2 bathrooms in the house - 1 with a shower and one with a tub. Pet friendly!

Stinson Beach Castle House

Enjoy FULL views of the sunrise and sunset from the dining room, living room and large deck. Step down from the deck to the beach for a leisurely walk or build your own sandcastle at the foot of the 'Castle House.' Please note that the CastleHouse gives priority to longer stays in summer (incl. Sept) and shorter stays available between rentals. Holidays are 3 or more days depending on holiday. We provide pack-and-plays and also have an air mattress if needed.
