Sweet Stinson getaway 5 min walk to beach & dining

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Recently renovated, restored original wood paneling , new kitchen and bathroom. We are a 5 minute walk down the hill to the beach and Pacific Ocean. We are in walking distance to groceries, dining, and everything the small town of Stinson Beach has to offer. Peekaboo views from the deck of ocean and town. You can hear the waves when the windows are open. This is a rustic spot, both Stinson itself and our apartment. Fiber internet added 2024.

Family Beach Cottage

Third generation family cottage with beach, private hot tub on the deck and amazing views of Tomales Bay. The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. If you need more space, you can also book our Rustic Beach Cottage, which is directly next door and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as its own outdoor hot tub and fabulous bay view.

Our place is two unit home close to activities, including five blocks to the beach, it is on the hill above town, close to hiking one block from the Mt. Davis trail, a short walk down to restaurants and store. You’ll love our place because of the two comfy king beds, the light with amazing views of the ocean/Mt. Tam, the coziness, and the peacefulness of our private garden and secluded hot tub. Our upper unit is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

You will be about 40 paces to the beach (4th house from the beach) and a lovely 5-minute walk to town. On its own separate lot, with a sweet little yard with lounge chairs, Bbq, and a firepit, The Cottage is fresh, immaculate, peaceful, cozy, comfortable, romantic, and tranquil. Surrounded by private decks and a fenced yard (hammock, chaise lounges, hot-water outdoor shower, outdoor dining area and a gas BBQ), there are relaxing spots all over the property to chill with a book or hang out with family.
