The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

It is ideal for couples or small families looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage sleeps 4 guests and has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a double sofa bed for 2 more guests. The bathroom has a shower. The living area offers comfortable seating and the kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer.

Granny Smith Cottage

Nestled in the valley below the famous Sani Pass, Ripon Farm views the winding road up into Lesotho and on clear nights the Sani Top Chalet is visible on the skyline. While Ripon is a working farm, guests can walk freely amongst the Nguni herd (and stroke a tame calf) on the 187ha extent. Two farm dams with bass fishing are available and rods can be hired on site. The views of The Giants Cup and Sani Valley, within the uKhahlamba Maloti Drakensberg Park, are truly spectacular.

Aloe house Snowdon accommodation

The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

There are spectacular mountain views of the Southern Drakensberg with a small stock-watering dam close by. Children can play safely in an adjoining fenced, grassed area.
