Concordia Dam Cottage

Unique stand-alone, partially off the grid cottage overlooking working farm (Fynbos/Protea, Vegetables, Sheep, Cattle). Situated at the foot of the mountain next to a dam. Walking distance from Baardskeerdersbos. 18km from Pearly Beach and 22km from Gansbaai coastal area. This cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4 guests and has a private woodfire hot tub next to the patio. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate any pets. The working farm has sheep roaming around and also 3 big farm dogs.

the forest chalet - Sondagskloof

Built from Larch & Spruce cured to a dark finish, this secluded one bed-roomed chalet blends into the surrounding Poplar forest nestled next to a running stream. A King size bed, a luxurious bathroom with sliding door onto deck for a indoor/outdoor shower experience. The living-room/ kitchen is stylishly furnished & is fully equipped, with under counter fridge & gas hob, and a wood burning fireplace. Big picture windows & sliding doors open onto the deck, drawing the peaceful forest inside.

Our private, self-catering flatlet has a modern, sumptuous interior with high ceilings. We provide a cooling fan, heaters, and electric blankets (in winter). The private sliding-door entrance is accessed off the street via a spacious and private patio under a large veranda. There is parking on the premises. The flatlet is only 100 metres from the coastline and paved walkways stretch for more than a kilometre along the stunning clifftop views, where whales can be seen close by in season.

Nestled in a poplar forest, this tiny home is perfect for a couple wanting to venture into the platteland & escape their daily routines. Sheltered in the summer by a lush canopy, in winter, stripped bare, inviting in the blue skies. In stormy cold weather a combustion oven works it's magic warming "THE TINY" making for cosy winter cuddling! The small forest forms part of LOKAL, a 1ha property, with an vegetable garden , Orchards of fruit & nuts, some chickens & the Garden Cottage.

Fountainbush Cottage @ Amàre (Stanford/Gansbaai)

Fountainbush cottage is a self catering, eco friendly, family farm stay situated between Stanford and Gansbaai. The cottage is very safe and private overlooking a small farm dam, with horses and sheep wandering past your front gate. Our animals are all tame and your children can get up close and personal with mini pigs, chickens, sheep, horses and dogs. The cottage is well stocked with books, board games, a dress up basket for kids and everything a family needs to relax.

A 2 minute stroll into the centre of the the village, with a choice of award winning restaurants. Lovely walks down to the river and a hop skip and a jump away from award winning Wine farms, whales and fish eagles! Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. The cottage offer accommodation for up to 4 guests. The cottage consist of 2 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. Please note: no day visitors are allowed
