The owners live in a separate part of the house. Guests have their private access and space. Please note: cats live on the property but do not enter the guest suite.

An episode of The Curious Case of… was filmed right here at the property. Stay where the cameras rolled and experience the same atmosphere that caught the producers’ attention. One block away from the water & 3 blocks away from Dolphin Cove. Enjoy walking and site-seeing. Perfect for going kayaking, paddle boarding or just stay relaxing in the backyard. It is located at 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and 7 minutes away from downtown. The house has also a lower-level unit.

This 625 sqft fully furnished studio apartment has its own private entrance and sleeps 2-3 with a queen bed and Murphy bed. Other than outside, there is no contact with other people (hosts, other guests, etc) possible unless the guest allows such. The unit consists of a living room, dining space (breakfast basics provided), kitchen, full bathroom/laundry. Walk to Fairfield U; an easy train ride to NYC. (Need the Murphy bed? PLEASE do not wait until just before checkin to let us know that!)

The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show.
