This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans. Bring your furry friend and take long walks around the tree-lined property, or cozy up with your loved one and bask in the privacy of the cabin.

Located in the heart of the Atchafalaya Wetlands, halfway between Lafayette & Baton Rouge, this 2,800 sqft property has a spacious living area & well-equipped kitchen. Walking upstairs, you enter a sunroom overlooking the water. One of two bedrooms has a work desk area. Downstairs is an unfinished game room with a pool table & entrance to a large deck with outdoor amenities & beautiful scenery. Bayou Belle is great for fishing, relaxing, & fellowship. Drive through your own little private swamp as you enter the property before it opens up to the cottage. The front porch is only steps away from the river. Large windows line the front of the home so you will have a wonderful view wherever you’re at. It is a perfect place to relax while surrounded by nature.

Maps says 15 minutes to Downtown Lafayette, 10 minutes to Downtown Youngsville, and 12 minutes from the airport! One queen size bed, one fold out twin bed in closet, and a sofa. Sleeps up to three. Comfy and cozy get away. I am NOT LOCATED IN LAFAYETTE, so if you stay here please understand that you could be 10 to 20 minute drive depending on your destination

Cajun Cottage located on the Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia's Historic Main St. The property is lined with old Oak and Cypress trees with a beautiful view of the bayou. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Coffee, cream, and sugar provided.. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting.

Baton Rouge Guesthouse

Cute little Baton Rouge guesthouse just a short drive to mid-city restaurants, shopping, City Park, downtown, and LSU. This space is filled with local art and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The guesthouse is fully detached from the main home on the property and has full use of the driveway with gated parking. There is a small patio area in the back with lights and a picnic table.

Slow down and be transported to another time and place in this 1834 creole cottage along Bayou Teche. The huge live oaks with their draped Spanish moss surround the home. The home features a huge back porch overlooking the bayou to do some birdwatching. The center hall allows for a nice breeze. There’s a queen bed and claw foot tub downstairs, two full beds and bathroom upstairs.
