It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. **if you are reserving early spring or late fall, please note that, although the tiny house keeps cozy and warm with the space heater provided, there is no heat in the “summer kitchen”, the toilet is in an outhouse and the shower is outdoors. A stay here during cooler weather calls for a heartier guest who is able to tolerate the cold. :) ** A very cozy and rustic tiny house situated on 10 acres mid-way between Duluth and Two Harbors and a short (one mile) hike to the shore of Lake Superior.

The 2 Bdrm, 2 Bath home is fully furnished and has been completely renovated. The kitchen has everything needed to dine at home. The deck provides a peaceful view of the woods; and the 3 season porch and loft den offer lovely places to relax and read. In the winter the wood stove provides a toasty ambiance.

Enjoy the beauty of northern MN in this rustic and cozy cabin right on Shagawa lake. Great fishing and close enough to town for easy access to restaurants and shops. Great walleye fishing in the bay directly in front of the cabin. Fishing boat and kayak on site. The cabin is an open concept format. The lower bedrooms require descending 2 steps. The bedrooms are separated by curtains.

Our yurt sits on the edge of a wild woods overlooking a clearing that is an active forest restoration project currently in process on the banks of the Cloquet River. Take a quiet stroll or snowshoe through the woods, fish, swim, view wildlife, or take some valuable time for stillness and contemplation.
