Curtis is less than 5 miles. Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The Lake Haus

Welcome to The Lake Haus! The home sits on 1.5 acres of secluded woods. It has 2,500+ sq ft with lake side windows and stunning views. Fully equipped kitchen, a great room with stone fireplace, dining area that seats 12 overlooking 200 ft of private lake front, sun/game room for indoor fun, and screened in porch. The home is in an ideal location on the east side of the island to enjoy sunrises, is approximately 7 mi from town, golf course, tennis court, brewery and appx 5 mi from Iron Ore Bay.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
