Our cozy studio apartment sets on the Patuxent River. With the perfect views of Myrtle Beach, Point Patient and Thomas Johnson Bridge. Relax watching the boats and birds or take a walk along the water for a lovely neighborhood to stroll for 2.5 miles. Your favorite moments may be when you wake to see the sun rise and again to see the orange sky set. Just over the bridge from the popular Solomon's Island which is full of fabulous restaurants, boat rentals, charter fishing and summer concerts.

This 4 bedroom/3 bath custom home is at the end of a quiet lane and sits on a point of land between the Potomac River and Blackbeard’s Pond, making for magnificent river views from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy swimming, canoeing, Bocce on the lawn, barbecue on the deck! Osprey’s Roost is the perfect retreat to rest and recharge, ideal for a romantic week away, a girls’ weekend or a family gathering!

Inquire first on pets, there is a 50 lb. weight limit total, can be split up between 2 small dogs or 1 at 50lbs or less,must be house broken and friendly. Close to Saint Mary's historic city, Pt. Lookout State Park, Sotterley Plantation. Great hiking trails, restored colonial village,a replica of the Maryland Dove. Tour a lighthouse. Great restaurants , or spend a day over in Solomons Island, about 20 miles from us. Peaceful settings for relaxing right on the water,or kayak on the river.

We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”). And be sure to visit our sister property, White Point Cottage!

Historic St. Mary's City, MD

1,000 square foot two-bedroom, one bath waterfront apartment features separate entrance and a screened-in porch overlooking the St. Mary’s River. Property has a large dock and a small private beach. Jellyfish, crabs, and oysters make swimming challenging, although many swim off the dock in the deeper water. No Diving! Dogs are welcome. We just ask that they be on a leash. The apartment is attached to part of the house where we reside, although it is sealed off and nothing is shared.

Living on Island Time

Relax with the whole family and spend life on Island Time. Full bar set up with ice maker and wine refrigerator. Private pier, paddle boards and firepit. Unwind on St Goerge Island or head out to one of the local eateries for some southern Maryland faire. Inside you have 2 spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms. A massive island for cooking, card playing or just great conversations with endless views. Crabbing, fishing. The Neighbors have 2 Great Danes and a cat that you may see occasionally

Blackwater Tiny Cabin on Snakehead Creek

The Solar Powered Tiny Cabin is located on a farmette, making your visit even more memorable! Just a 5 min drive from Blackwater Refuge! It's an affordable and unique way to visit and enjoy all that Cambridge and Blackwater Refuge have to offer! The Tiny Cabin is located 50 steps away from Pitcher Dam Creek which leads to the Little Blackwater! Kayaks on site! Bring your fishing rod to catch popular Snakeheads! 15 minute drive to Route 50, downtown Cambridge, shopping and dining!

Bright & cheery 1 bedroom waterfront apartment nestled on the banks of the St. Mary's River. Amazing, dreamy views. It's a sweet spot to relax and enjoy a quiet get-away or launch a kayak, take a walk, enjoy great food cuisine. We sit next to St. Mary's College of MD and Historic St. Mary's City. You may see college sailing races, crew teams rowing, or the historic Maryland Dove sailing down the river. It's lovely here fall, winter, spring, summer! SUNSETS!

There is a private floating dock on property to access the river. Enjoy fishing and crabbing off the stationary dock. This tiny houseboat sits permanently on a boat lift, so you will have the unique experience of being over water without the risk of sea sickness! Located in the heart of quaint Solomons Island, this is a great stay if you love being near the water. Unparalleled views from your private porch. Please note, due to extensive pet damage we have changed this property to strictly no animals. You will be asked to leave if you arrive with a pet.
